Mini-Series
TAKING & MAking SPACE

Why this series?
When I pay close attention to my conversations, I notice there are
certain moments that feel harder for me to stay with:
- When someone shares something vulnerable, I can feel a rush to reassure them....
- When an uncomfortable silence appears, I feel the tendency to fill it...
- When I want to say something but the moment seems to pass... then I’m left sitting with the discomfort of that.
- When I'm on automatic pilot in a conversation, I respond before really feeling the impact of what was said.
These are small moments.
But I notice they happen more often than I would expect.
In many conversations, space seems to disappear almost instantly…
Not because we don’t care.
But because we want to help, connect, respond or move things forward.
AND WHAT IF..
... connection sometimes needs a little more space than we usually give it?
WHAT IF...
... I take up too much space and they don’t like it?
... they fill the space before I have a chance?
... I make space for the other and quietly disappear in the process?

And yet…

Often it’s in the space between words
that something real has the chance to appear.
HOW?
In this three-week mini-series, we’ll gently explore
taking and making space in connection.
Not as a technique to learn.
Not by doing more.
But by slowing down.
By noticing the moments
where space can open between us.
